Overseas Koreans Protest against THAAD Deployment

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- The Society for Cooperation among Koreans in Germany and the European Regional Headquarters of the Overseas Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification on April 28 made public a statement in denunciation of the illegal deployment of THAAD by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet authorities.

Days ago the U.S. forces suddenly deployed "X-band" radar and parts of THAAD at Songju Golf Links to practically operate them, according to the decision made by Park Geun Hye last year, the statement said, and went on:

The heroes of the candlelight actions and overseas Koreans strongly demand that the new "government" of south Korea show it is no longer shackled to the U.S. by boldly requesting the abolishment of the south Korea-U.S. "mutual defense treaty", model of inequality, challenging to the threat and pressure of the Trump administration.
