The festival and the symposium to be held on the theme of "Juche architecture making rapid progress with the might of self-development" will involve officials and workers in the field of architectural design, construction, building materials, supervision, scientific research and educational institutions and those of relevant units.

The festival will see the presentation of building designs including the green architectural layout and city and town planning layout that won at provincial(municipal) festivals, home-made building materials, fixtures, construction gears and tools, programs for putting designing on a IT basis as well as scientific papers in the construction field.

The symposium will focus on the feats of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un ushering in the era of great prosperity of construction and on the fact that a new path for the development of Juche architecture was opened up through the construction of monumental edifices like Ryomyong Street.
