Rodong Sinmun Slashes at Japanese Reactionaries' Denial of History of Aggression
Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that a report on the massacre of Koreans during the great Kanto quake was deleted from a website by the Japanese government recently.

During the great Kanto quake in 1923 the Japanese imperialists mercilessly killed in the most barbarous way a great number of Koreans while spreading a rumor that "Koreans poisoned wells" and "they set fire".

The Japanese reactionaries have not yet officially acknowledged it. This fact was only included in the report which the government worked out with the help of outside experts under the pretext of "referring to the past disaster". This report was recently deleted from the website.

Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Saturday says this reveals the impudence and craftiness peculiar to Japan.

Japan seems to try to evade from its responsibility by categorically denying the hideous crimes against humanity committed by it in the past but it committed too huge crimes to redeem, the commentary says, and goes on:

Denial of the past wrongdoings is tantamount to its will to repeat them.

The Japanese reactionaries' act of daringly trying to bring down the DPRK is little short of trying to sweep the sea with a broom. Japan proper will turn into a heap of debris by the retaliatory will of the army and people of the DPRK determined to certainly force Japan to pay thousand-fold price for its provocative act.

The Japanese reactionaries should not run amuck, bearing in mind that the denial of the history of aggression and distortion of history can invite self-destruction.
