Minju Joson Discloses Ulterior Purpose of Japan in Following U.S. Moves to Strike DPRK

Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- Japanese Prime Minister Abe, at a recent press conference held after a phone conversation with U.S. President Trump, highly appreciated Trump's policy that all options including military option are on the table to settle the Korean issue. Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday says: What Abe uttered only revealed the ill-minded nature of the Japanese reactionaries wanting an earlier outbreak of war on the Korean peninsula. The Japanese reactionary regime is asking the U.S. to escalate the level of threat, flattering the U.S. seeking to strike the DPRK by force of arms. This is because such strong-arm policy of the U.S. is favorable to its criminal wild ambition. This year's May marks the 70th anniversary of the enforcement of the Pacifist Constitution in Japan. Now that the climate of security is getting serious in Northeast Asia, the Japanese reactionaries deem it a golden chance for making a breakthrough in its efforts to turn itself into a warring nation by modifying its old Pacifist Constitution. While disturbing the efforts for detente on the Korean peninsula, the Japanese regime is speeding up the preparatory work for modifying the constitution under the pretext of changing security climate. In another word, it is the sly calculation of Japan to retrogressively revise the present constitution by putting up the security crisis on the Korean peninsula as a pretext. The reactionary regime of Japan is finding a way out in deteriorating the situation on the Korean peninsula but it is no more than a stupid calculation of fools. Now is just the crucial time for Japan to be mindful of its existence, not to pursue the modification of the constitution. Japan is sadly mistaken if it thinks that the second Korean war would help it get windfall gain like in the past. On the contrary, Japan will have to face a downpour of nuclear strikes only. |
