A wreath in the name of the Russian embassy was placed and the participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the fallen fighters of the Soviet Army.

The embassy officials also laid a wreath and bouquets at the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Soviet Army in Sadong District of Pyongyang.

Earlier, they placed bouquets before the liberation towers, statues of Soviet soldiers, cemeteries of fallen Soviet soldiers and memorial towers for them in provinces.

Meanwhile, the members of the Russian consulate general in Chongjin laid bouquets at the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Soviet Army in Chongjin City.
