Present there on invitation were Kim Son Gyong, director-general of the European Department 2, and other officials of the DPRK Foreign Ministry and diplomatic envoys of different countries and representatives of international bodies here.

At the reception diplomatic envoys hoped that the situation on the Korean peninsula would be defused and peaceful solution would be provided through dialogue and negotiations.

The reception proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
