S. Koreans Demand Legal Step against THAAD Deployment

| Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- Hundreds of inhabitants living in Songju County and Kimchon City of North Kyongsang Province of south Korea submitted an appeal to the "Constitutional Court" on Monday demanding a halt to the regime's introduction of THAAD equipment, according to the south Korean Newsis. They criticized the regime for pushing ahead with deployment of THAAD despite strong public backlash. They called for retracting the deployment project without fail, terming it an unconstitutional abuse of power infringing upon the principal right of the inhabitants. |
