Among those present were Ma Won Chun, director of the Designing Department of the State Affairs Commission; Tong Jong Ho, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry; Kwon Song Ho, minister of State Construction Control; Kim Kyong Jun, minister of Land and Environment Protection; Kang Yong Su, minister of Urban Management; Jo Sok Ho, chairman of the Capital City Construction Commission; and officials of construction and science and education fields and the participants in the 17th May 21 Architectural Festival.

Speakers at the symposium mentioned the feats of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is ushering in the great era of prosperity of construction, and the achievements and experience gained in creating architecture on the people-first principle. They also referred to the theoretical and practical problems arising in embodying the Workers' Party of Korea's idea and theory on Juche-based architecture and its construction policy.
