National Records Renewed in Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games

| Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- National records were renewed in shooting, swimming and weightlifting events of the Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games held in celebration of the Day of the Sun, birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (April 15). The Defence Sports Team of the Korean People's Army set new records in women's team 10-meter running target mixed event and women's team 10-meter air rifle event and women swimmers of the April 25 Sports Team in 100-meter butterfly, 1,500-meter freestyle and 4×100 meters mixed relay events. Meanwhile, a new record was also established in men's 69 kg weightlifting. |
