Born into a tenant's family in Kusong City, North Phyongan Province, Ho led a worthwhile life as the mistress of land thanks to President Kim Il Sung after the liberation of the country. She took the lead in supporting the front during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.

After the war she made her children serve in the army to defend the country and had creditably discharged her duty as a peasant responsible for the country's grain production.

She likes potato and bean dishes and always keeps her hands busy with farm work.
