A ceremony took place in Kuwait.

Present there were the chairman and members of the association and the DPRK ambassador and his embassy officials in Kuwait.

The certificate was conveyed to the ambassador by Javid Ahmad, chairman of the association.

It was written on the certificate that the Kuwait Asian Journalist Association presents the certificate of exploits to respected HE Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Korean people, on the occasion of the first anniversary of his election as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the ceremony.
