Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- All the people of the DPRK send warm congratulations to defence scientists and technicians for successfully conducting a test-fire of ground-to-ground med- to-long-range missile Hwasong-12 to demonstrate the dignity and stamina of the Korean nation all over the world. They regard the successful test-fire as a historic great event that served as a sledgehammer to punish the U.S. and its followers and made a contribution to securing peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and the region. Hong Sun Phyo, a workshop head of the Chollima Steel Complex, said: Defence scientists and technicians developed the Korean-style "Juche weapon" and thus shatter the daydream of the imperialists keen on arbitrary practices against the DPRK and demonstrated the great might of the Songun (military first) Korea. They are pioneers of the Mallima movement who dedicated their all to the development of Hwasong-12 with the faith to absolutely believe in and follow respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and in the spirit of devotedly carrying out the tasks set by the Workers' Party of Korea. We, workers of the complex, will remarkably boost the production of Juche iron, steel and rolled steel by emulating their spirit. Son Hyon Chol, chief engineer of the Pyongyang Condiments Factory, said: I am very pleased to hear the news about the successful test-fire carried out under the guidance of the respected Supreme Leader and convinced that we can make a strict control the U.S. The possession of "Juche weapon" is the greatest victory in the centuries-long confrontation with the U.S. imperialists. With a pride of being a citizen of Juche Korea, a nuclear power in the East and a rocket launching power possessed of "Juche weapon" capable of carrying a large-size heavy nuclear warhead, I will develop and produce more condiments to improve the people's diet. |
