S. Korea: Organizations Sue Hong Jun Phyo

Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- The Teachers Union and the Confederation of Trade Unions of south Korea reportedly filed suits with the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office against Hong Jun Phyo, former governor of South Kyongsang Province who ran for presidency on the ticket of the "Liberal Korea Party", on charges of threat, disturbance of performance and libel on May 12.

Hong said in Pusan on April 29 that he would wipe out the union and the confederation and the "forces following the north". And he, in a broadcasting speech on April 25, branded the organizations as the biggest cancer-like entity.
