Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Man Gon in their speeches offered congratulations, upon authorization by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, to the scientists, technicians, workers and officials in the field of rocket research who developed a new type of medium-to-long range ballistic rocket to give birth to the Korean-style strategic weapon system, "Juche weaponry", true to the strategic intention and decision of the WPK.

The successful test-fire of new-type rocket is of weighty and special significance in reliably defending the destiny of the country and its people and ensuring the peace and security of the world, they stressed, adding: This signal success noteworthy in the history of building a nuclear power of Juche is a precious fruition of the Supreme Leader's distinguished and tested guidance, indomitable faith, courage and patriotic devotion.

The speakers called upon the officials, scientists and technicians in the field of rocket research to develop and manufacture in a larger quantity the Korean-style powerful rockets and thus bolster up the DPRK's military capability for self-defence thousand-fold.
