Japan's Scheme to Emerge Military Giant under Fire
Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- Former defense ministers Nakatani and Onodera and other ultra-rightist persons of Japan recently swarmed to the Washington strategy and research centre to make jargons on a "Japan's policy towards the DPRK in the era of Trump". They blustered that the Korean peninsula is faced with increased tension and Japan should be ready for it.

Rodong Sinmun Saturday says in a commentary in this regard:

This reveals the Japanese reactionaries' wild scheme to take the path of overseas expansion and reinvasion, backed by the U.S. under the pretext of the nonexistent threat from the DPRK.

Ridiculous is their vociferation that Japan would not rule out any option including a preemptive strike to cope with the DPRK's ballistic missile threat.

It shows a crafty artifice to hype threat from the DPRK in a bid to secure justifications for their reckless moves and garner domestic and foreign support and thus put spurs to the moves for turning Japan into a military giant and launching reinvasion.

Clear is the ulterior motive of the Japanese reactionaries zealously seeking the opportunity for overseas aggression while parroting the absurd U.S. story about threat from the DPRK. They seek to repeat the time when the Japanese imperialists had invaded Asian countries, talking about the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".

Since Japan's defeat in the war, all its regimes have run amuck to convert it into a military power and realize the wild ambition for reinvasion, but there was no regime like the present one which is openly pursuing the policy of overseas invasion after discarding the mask of a "peace state".

Japan's reinvasion is a matter of time.
