Citing what happened in Eastern European countries in which socialism collapsed, the article says a step concession in ideological work will precisely lead to ruin and end of socialism.

It is foolish to try to achieve the economic growth only while disregarding the ideological work in socialist countries. Today when the imperialists keen on dominating the world are resorting to all sleight of hands to bring down those countries advocating socialism and independence against imperialism, it is as good as pricking one's own eyes to set aside the ideological work.

The battle between socialism and imperialism is stand-off between mental and ideological power as well as the confrontation between economic and military power.

The war to defend socialism is an offensive battle to contain the imperialists politically and ideologically and, at the same time, overpower corrupt ideology and culture with revolutionary ideology and culture.

The more undisguised the enemies become in their moves against socialism, the more firmly one has to give definite precedence to the ideological work. Herein lies a key to advancing the socialist cause to victory and accomplishing it.

No enemy will be undefeatable, once one is strong in ideology.
