Participating in the WHA is a health delegation of the DPRK headed by Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health.

Before the opening of the WHA, Kang Ha Guk met his counterparts of Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and East Timor to exchange opinions on bilateral cooperation and international cooperation for development of health work.

They appreciated the DPRK for developing with its own efforts and pursuing popular healthcare policies.
