Referring to the fact, Rodong Sinmun Friday says in an article:

This is the victory the south Korean people brought in their steady struggle to terminate the fascist dictatorial rule and realize democracy.

The Kwangju Popular Uprising brought to light the heinous murderous nature of the U.S. and the south Korean military fascist clique.

To thoroughly probe the truth behind Kwangju bloodbath and punish those responsible for the crimes is an important way for eradicating the evil practices of the pro-U.S. conservative group and realizing democracy in south Korea.

The pro-U.S. conservative group has so far run the whole gamut of sleight of hand to cover up the truth of massacre they committed during the uprising.

As long as this puppet group is allowed to persistently prevent democracy in south Korea while viciously hurting the uprising, the desire of the resistance fighters can never be realized.

The reality goes to clearly prove that only when the pro-U.S. conservative remnants are clearly eradicated, true democracy will be realized in the south Korean society.

The article stresses the need to intensify the struggle to wipe out the pro-U.S. conservative forces going against the truth and justice.
