S. Koreans Protest against THAAD Deployment

| Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- The co-chairman of the Kimchon Citizens No-THAAD Actions Committee staged a demonstration in protest against the deployment of THAAD outside Chongwadae on May 23, according to Yonhap News of south Korea. He was holding a placard calling on the "president" to visit Songju County and take a necessary step, as demanded by the inhabitants of Kimchon City and Songju County. Members of the All-People No-THAAD Actions joined him. They blamed the "president" for allowing introduction of THAAD equipment though he promised to reconsider its deployment. They urged him to stop the deployment before the reconsideration of the project. |
