The successful test-launch is a great victory of the Korean people, and it is of importance and special significance in ensuring peace and security of the region, the statement said, adding:

This great event, which gave fresh confidence to the world progressives, proved once again that no force could stop the army and people of the DPRK from vigorously advancing towards the final victory, united close around respected HE Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The U.S. should neither shun nor misjudge the stark reality in which the DPRK is possessed of powerful means for deadly retaliatory strike, and it had better know well that it will suffer the worst disaster in history if it dares provoke the DPRK through reckless acts.

The People's Progressive Party of Nigeria urges the U.S. to opt for improving the relations with the DPRK by concluding peace accord with it, well aware of its strategic position. And it calls upon the international community to support the principled and peace-loving stand and efforts of the DPRK for peace and stability on the Korean peninsula from the point of a fair deal.
