Rodong Sinmun Flails U.S. Reckless Moves to Stifle DPRK
Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Recently, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a new bill on sanctions against the DPRK, calling for a perfect network of sanctions and blockade. Its keynote is to extend the range of independent sanctions against the DPRK to the maximum and impose tougher sanctions upon the businesses, organizations and individuals trading with the DPRK and employing its workers.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says:

This is just a reckless move to stifle the DPRK at any cost by depriving it of its vital rights and ratcheting up international pressure upon it to the maximum.

The Trump administration, which set the "maximum pressure and engagement" as its policy toward the DPRK, seeks to make even a little success by buckling down to putting the toughest sanctions and pressure on it, but it is no more than a wild dream.

The DPRK has always been exposed to sanctions of the U.S.

It is a great country of self-reliance and self-development which builds up its own strength, resolutely standing up against the ever-escalating sanctions and pressure.

The ill-intended move of the Trump administration resorting to strong-arm policy, sanctions and pressure, failing to learn a lesson from a serious mistake of his predecessors whose policy hostile to the DPRK proved futile, will only lead the U.S. to the final doom.

It is just the U.S. which will get isolated worldwide with the passage of time.
