DPRK Foreign Ministry General Director Meets Slovak Counterpart
Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- Kim Son Kyong, general director of the European Department 2 of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK, had a talk with Marian Tomasik, director for Asia and the Pacific of the Foreign Ministry of Slovakia, at the building of the Foreign Ministry of this country on May 26.

The DPRK side referred to its will to favorably develop the relations between the two countries and the positive efforts to defuse the tension of the Korean peninsula and ensure peace and stability of the region.

The Slovak side said the Slovak people have friendly feelings towards the Korean people, expressing the will to continue bilateral dialogue and exchange for promoting mutual understanding and developing the relations.

It expressed concern over the situation of the Korean peninsula going to the dangerous phase and said dialogue and negotiations are the only way for defusing the tension and settling the problems at present.
