Reckless Remarks of S. Korean Minister of Unification Censured

Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- Days ago, Hong Yong Phyo, puppet minister of Unification of south Korea, at a luncheon round-table conversation said "what he intended to do as minister of Unification was peaceful unification." He noted that he had made "efforts for south-north peace and confidence-building" and could not but direct "more efforts to denuclearization owing to the nuclear threat from the north."

These are the reckless remarks to shift the responsibility for the deteriorated inter-Korean relations on the DPRK and cover up his true colors as a heinous confrontation maniac, leading newspapers of the DPRK say in commentaries Tuesday.

Rodong Sinmun observes:

Traitor Hong Yong Phyo spat rubbish slandering the fellow countrymen in the north till the last moments of his job, feeling guilty conscience for his crimes.

Hong's justification for his crimes contains the scheme to incite the new regime to carry forward Park Geun Hye's policy of confrontation with the compatriots.

It is very foolish for Hong to try to evade destruction by covering up his crimes.

Minju Joson also says his reckless remarks aimed to check the improved north-south relations prove once again that he is the traitor for all ages and root cause of disaster to the nation to be removed with Park Geun Hye as early as possible.
