Stop to THAAD Radar Operation Demanded in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- Residents in Songju County and Kimchon City of North Kyongsang Province and the Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism in south Korea reportedly held a press conference in Sosong-ri, Chojon-myon of Songju County on May 24 to demand stop to operation of THAAD radar and withdrawal of the weaponry system. Speakers at the conference charged that the defense ministry of south Korea and the U.S. forces are going to make south Korean inhabitants an test object of dangerous radio waves through THAAD deployment. They urged the present "government" to stop the radar operation and withdraw the illegal deployment of THAAD. And they demanded that Defense Minister Han Min Gu and other criminals be thoroughly investigated and punished as they deceived the people. |
