"Historical Experience of Building the Workers' Party of Korea", the famous work published by President Kim Il Sung on May 31, Juche 75 (1986), takes an important place in the historic course of the WPK.

The work is an encyclopedic document which comprehensively deals with a precious history, tradition and experience of the glorious WPK. It is also an important guideline indicating the way to implement the mission and tasks as the Juche-type revolutionary party.

The work perfectly expounds the theoretical and practical issues to be maintained in party building and activities.

After the publication of the work, the heyday for building the revolutionary party of Juche type has been ushered in under the wise guidance of the great leaders.

The original ideas and theories of the party building clarified by the President served as the life-giving water which helped the WPK develop into the revolutionary party of Juche with the strong independent stand and the mother party taking care of the popular masses in a responsible manner. They also served as the fundamental source that helped the WPK discharge its role as the seasoned staff of the Juche revolution.

The WPK adhered to the Juche blood and developed into an ideological pure entity and an integral organization despite severe trials in the 1990s under the energetic guidance of leader Kim Jong Il who carried forward the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung.

The WPK is fully demonstrating its invincible dignity and might as the promising party under the outstanding guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un, possessed of brilliant ideological and theoretical wisdom, rare political ability and noble virtues, convened the Fourth Conference of the WPK, the Fourth Conference of Cell Secretaries of the WPK, the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the WPK and other historical meetings to open a new chapter for the development of the party.

The WPK is attaching top priority to their interests and convenience, regarding them as absolute and leading the destiny and future of the people in a responsible manner to the last.

The Korean people keenly feel that it is the great fortune that they hold in high esteem Kim Jong Un at the top post of the WPK, and are firmly convinced that the cause of the party is invincible as it is led by him.
