Attending it were Choe Ryong Hae, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, and officials concerned and kindergarteners and teachers and women in the city.

Also, present on invitation were members of foreign embassies and international body missions here and children, women and guests of different countries and overseas compatriots.

Addressing the gathering, Jang Chun Sil, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the women's union, expressed belief that all children of the country would grow up to be sunflowers following the sun only and excellent pillars who are qualified intellectually, morally and physically.

A stage of pleasant and joyful folk plays by children was displayed before sports and amusement games.

At the end of the games, the participants had a pleasant time, dancing with children and enjoying skills presented by sea animals at the Rungna Dolphinarium.
