Their hearts were mesmerized by epic poem "Mt Paektu", which praises the greatness of President Kim Il Sung who aroused the whole nation to the sacred war against the Japanese imperialist aggressors, declaring that Korea and its spirit are alive like the flames burning up in Pochonbo.

In such numbers as a female solo "Pochonbo, Land of Glory", the performers represented that the victorious Pochonbo battle was a historic event as it instilled the Korean people with confidence that the country is sure to be liberated under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung, and displayed the might of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and encouraged the popular masses to the sacred war for the national liberation.
