Expressing solidarity with the Korean people in the vigorous struggle against the evermore escalated U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK, the statement said:

The imperialists have tried hard to keep Songun Korea from having military strength able to frustrate their war moves.

However, the invincible revolutionary Paektusan army is ready to counter with any form of war by the enemies.

The recent successful test-fires of new-type ground-to-ground medium-to-long range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-12 and ground-to-ground medium-to-long range strategic ballistic missile Pukguksong-2 are great victories won by the Korean people closely rallied around the Workers' Party Korea under the wise guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

We are convinced that the DPRK will achieve shining victory in the showdown with the U.S.
