Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site Draws Endless Stream of Visitors
Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- Visitors to the Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site are now on the steady increase with the approach of the 80th anniversary of the victorious battle of Pochonbo commanded by President Kim Il Sung.

The battle site has been visited by millions of people including service personnel and school youth and children for the last 10 years.

The site is a major center for education in the revolutionary traditions as it shows the revolutionary feats the President performed in the anti-Japanese armed struggle by setting forth the policy for advance into the homeland and guiding the Pochonbo battle to victory.

The visitors presented floral baskets and bouquets to the statue of the President imposingly standing there in the uniform dating back to the anti-Japanese war.

Going round the command post of the Battle of Pochonbo, the police sub-station and other battle places, they grasped the brilliant military strategy and tactics of the President, legendary hero of the anti-Japanese war, and the historic significance of the Pochonbo battle.
