Enjoying the performance were Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, and other senior party, state and army officials, officials of party and armed forces organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, men and officers of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and party information workers taking part in the study tour of battle sites in the area of Mt. Paektu.

The numbers of the performance, which started with prelude "Song of the Revolutionary Army", included female vocal sextet "Pochonbo, Land of Glory", instrumental music and song "Yanji Bomb" and male quintet "Mother Is Always with Red Flag".

The performers sang loudly of the feats of President Kim Il Sung, ever-victorious brilliant commander, outstanding strategist and peerlessly great man who led the anti-Japanese war to a shining victory and achieved the country's liberation.
