Kim Jong Il's Party Building Exploits Praised in Switzerland

Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Preparatory Committee for Gathering 2017-Praise to the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on June 5 to mark the 53rd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The statement said:

June 19, 1964, is a historic day of weighty significance in the development of the WPK.

Leader Kim Jong Il wisely led the struggle to thoroughly arm the whole Party with the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung and root out the alien ideological trends in the Party.

He also paid deep attention to the work for building the Party in keeping the requirements of the Juche idea founded by the President.

It would have been unthinkable without his wise guidance that the WPK could develop into the supreme staff of the Korean revolution which has struck its roots deep into the popular masses as now.

The WPK is the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il guiding the building of a socialist power despite all challenges.
