Peasants' Preparatory Committee for Pan-National Conference Formed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Peasants organizations of south Korea, including the Federation of Peasants Associations and the Catholic Peasants Association, met in Seoul on June 8 to form a peasants preparatory committee for the Pan-National Conference for Peace and Reunification of the Country and Development of North-South Relations, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

At the inaugural meeting, speakers called upon all Koreans in the south and the north and abroad to pool their efforts and wisdom in order to make the Pan-National Conference success.

They stressed that as the peasants removed the treacherous and anti-reunification regime by dint of candlelight action, they would start the action again for the pan-national conference and the country's reunification.
