Continued Probe into Case of Killing by GIs Urged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- The joint preparatory committee for memorial service for schoolgirls Sin Hyo Sun and Sim Mi Son on the 15th anniversary of their death held a press conference in Seoul to demand continued probe into the truth behind the killing of the two girls by GIs with an armored vehicle, according to the south Korean Yonhap News. Speakers at the conference called for comprehensively re-scrutinizing the documents related to the investigation into the killing which was discontinued in 2009 and the trial concerning the case. They urged the new "government" to continue the probe into the truth and hold the GIs legally responsible for the crime. |
