The African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People headquartered in Nigeria said this in an article posted on its internet homepage on June 2.

The article said:

June 6 this year is a significant day marking the 71st founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) which clearly shows the world the true picture of socialist Korea's outlook on the younger generation "Love the future!"

The DPRK significantly celebrates this day every year.

A few years ago respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un paid deep attention to the work for splendidly holding the largest-ever celebrations for the 66th founding anniversary of the KCU in Pyongyang and granted the delegates of the KCU warm love and favors. He personally took part in an event and made a congratulatory speech even though he was very busy with state affairs.

He saw to it that educational facilities and leisure conditions for school youth and children were built in all parts of the country including the capital city of Pyongyang and KCU camps in scenic spots were remodeled successfully.

This is arousing the great admiration of the world people.
