Entering the 21st century, the U.S. shifted its strategic pivot from Europe and Atlantic Ocean to Asia-Pacific.

It is the U.S. intention to strategically contain its potential rivals by securing the carrier-based aircraft's long-range striking capability through the development of unmanned refueling plane and holding the numerical and technical edge of nuclear-carrier task force.

The regional powers are putting spurs to flex their military muscles to cope with the U.S. ambition for hegemony.

Such U.S. military moves are escalating arms race and tension. So, it is unreasonable for the U.S. to describe the DPRK's measures for bolstering up its nuclear deterrence as "threat" and "provocation".

As a responsible nuclear power guarding the gateway to the Northeast Asian region, the DPRK will never remain a passive onlooker to the U.S. moves for escalating tension and aggression.
