Japanese Government Urged to Make Sincere Apology for Sexual Slavery
Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea reportedly issued a statement on June 12 to denounce Japan for its impudent action to cover up the crimes related to sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

It accused Prime Minister Abe's special envoy of his assertion that the issue of sexual slavery was solved and Japan paid money for it and so the story of renegotiations does not be allowed worldwide and those who resort to wiles in south Korea-Japan relations should be ousted.

The "agreement" on sexual slavery is a product of Park Geun Hye's treacherous policy and the victims and other people have never accepted it, the statement said.

What the victims are demanding is apology and reparation as well as assurance for prevention of recurrence of such crime, it stressed, urging the Japanese government to stop at once all scenarios for erasing the history as an offender of war crimes and make a sincere apology to the victims.
