S. Korea: Street Stall Keepers Launch Actions for Vital Rights
Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- More than 5 000 members of the Democratic Street Stall Keepers Association and the General Federation of Street Stall Keepers in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on June 13 to renew the will to fight against the authorities' violation of vital rights, according to the south Korean internet paper Chamsesang.

At the rally speakers urged the "government" to stop forced removal of street stalls if it sincerely serves the people.

The participants in a resolution expressed their will to do utmost to stop deceptive step for managing stalls, insititute a basic law on stalls and a special law on protection of street stall keepers and wage a vigorous struggle for eradicating all evils of south Korean society and getting the discrimination policy repealed.
