DPRK Will React to U.S. Pressure and Sanctions with Toughest Action: Rodong Sinmun
|
|
Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article flails the U.S. for getting mad in sanctions and military threat to the DPRK, exasperated by its steady steps for bolstering up the nuclear force. The DPRK's self-reliant deterrent with the nuclear force as a pivot serves as a powerful means to terminate the century-long U.S. hostile policy and nuclear war moves against the DPRK and ensure the lasting peace and security in the Korean peninsula and the region, the article says, and goes on: The U.S. pushed the DPRK to access to nukes, and its tightened sanctions and military pressure will never make the DPRK dismantle its nukes. The U.S. persistent sanctions and military pressure will only precipitate its miserable end. No matter how desperately the U.S. tighten the sanctions and military pressure, the DPRK will bring stronger pressure and bitterer suffering to it. If the U.S. imperialists dare provoke the DPRK, failing to properly understand its military might and strategic position and its army and people's fixed will to settle accounts with the U.S., they will face mercilessly annihilating retaliatory strike. The DPRK will keep to the road chosen by it, resolutely meeting the U.S. vicious and desperate challenge by bolstering up its nuclear force. |
