The red flag of the revolution that preserved its color in the forest of Mt Paektu remained invariably fluttering as banner of socialism despite manifold ordeals and extreme moves of the U.S. imperialists and their vassal forces against the DPRK. This is owing to the Workers' Party of Korea which has given priority to the ideological work all the time.

The ideological work of our party was the mental pabulum which gave invincible confidence and optimism to all the people and service personnel and the source of strength which achieved the great victory and changes to go down in the national history.

The people bring about a great upsurge in the revolution and construction and socialism is dynamically advancing full of vigor to the tune of the ideological campaign. This is the immutable truth taught by the past sacred annals.

The ideological work provides a sure guarantee for steadily strengthening the might of the single-minded unity and the powerful engine for creating ceaseless miracles and innovations in all the fields of building a socialist power.

The ideological work enables us to firmly protect Korean-style socialism by smashing the reactionary ideological offensive of the imperialists.
