Minju Joson Condemns S. Korean Authorities' Humiliating Behavior

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- Jong Se Gyun, speaker of the "National Assembly" of south Korea, recently visited Japan. When he meeting high-ranking politicians of Japan, he begged for "improvement of relations", saying south Korea-Japan relations are "important" and that he "is expecting forward-looking cooperative ties." Earlier, Mun Hui Sang, assemblyman from the Minju Party of south Korea, went to Japan as "special envoy" and kowtowed to Japanese, expressing "hope for diplomacy rapprochement." These are acts betraying the mindset of the south Korean people demanding scrapping of the "agreement" on the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army. Minju Joson Monday says this in a commentary. It goes on: Mendicant diplomacy of the south Korean authorities is humiliating behavior to cast a coquettish glance at Japan, sworn enemy of the Korean nation, and hurt the compatriots in collusion with it. It is the cunning wicked intention of the Japanese reactionaries to realize the ambition for reinvasion of Korea with the backing of the U.S. Such acts are nothing but treachery instigating the wild ambition of the Japs to hurt the fellow countrymen in the north. The south Korean authorities should draw a lesson from the miserable destiny of the Park Geun Hye group which ruined after resorting to the pro-U.S. and pro-Japanese acts and confrontation with the compatriots. They should not make a mendicant diplomacy but make a bold decision of switching over for protecting the dignity and interests of the nation in the spirit of By Our Nation Itself with their own senses. |
