Japan's Additional Sanctions upon DPRK Will Only Lead It to Self-Destruction: Minju Joson

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are running helter-skelter, crying out for examining the feasibility of its additional sanctions upon the DPRK and plugging some countries into the campaign to stifle the DPRK under the pretext of blocking it from bolstering nuclear deterrent. Commenting on this, Minju Joson Monday says: Japan has gone so foolish as to come under the shower of nuclear strike by the DPRK by adding to the crimes it committed against the Korean people in the past. The DPRK's bolstering of its nuclear deterrent is an entirely just step to protect the country's sovereignty, peace and stability of the region from the ever-escalating military moves of the U.S. to stifle it. Now that regional peace is ensured thanks to the DPRK's nuclear deterrent for self-defence, Japan has no reason to say this or that about nuclear and rocket development of the DPRK. No matter how desperately Japan resorts to sanctions campaign to stifle the DPRK, pursuant to the U.S. policy hostile to it, this will only result in a suicidal act of thrusting Japan into the strike range of the army of the DPRK. If Japan seeks to stand in confrontation with the DPRK at any cost despite its repeated warnings, it has no option left. If the DPRK-U.S. confrontation leads to an actual war, the archipelago of Japan which invited confrontation will never escape from heavy strikes by the DPRK as its primary target. Japan should seriously heed this warning. |
