On display at the venue of the seminar were photos showing exploits of Kim Jong Il.

Also displayed were photos introducing successes achieved by the army and people of the DPRK in building a socialist power.

Speakers including the secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party and the president of the Bangladesh People's League said that Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the WPK marked a historic event of epochal significance in developing the WPK into a party of President Kim Il Sung.

Thanks to Kim Jong Il the WPK has developed into the party in which the leadership system of the leader has been thoroughly established, the mother party serving the people after forming a harmonious whole with them and the militant party with strong sense of organization and discipline.

Korea, once a weak nation under imperialist colonial rule in the past, is now demonstrating its dignity as a political and military power, a satellite manufacturer and launcher and nuclear weapons state. This would be unthinkable without the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

They expressed their conviction that the Korean people would achieve greater successes in implementing the tasks advanced at the Seventh Congress of the WPK despite all challenges under the leadership of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
