There exists in Kangso District, Nampho City a factory to process the mineral water. The factory has over 40 years-long history and comes to be a leading mineral water producer to be proud of in the world for its output and quality.

According to Rim Son Hwa, manager of the factory, the mineral water goes through a process of separating carbonic acid gas from water, several filters, ultraviolet disinfector and the process of blowing the gas into water.

By introducing a new technology in gas-separation process, the factory has increased its output of carbonic acid gas and improved the quality of mineral water, she said, adding:

The production of mineral water is monitored and controlled in real-time by the integrated production system, while the sanitary safety and quality of goods are ensured by the quality control system.

When visiting the factory in June, respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said that to keep production going at a high rate at the factory is an important work for demonstrating the advantages of the socialist system of the DPRK under which all assets of the society are used for the promotion of people's wellbeing.
