Korean Photo and Art Exhibition Opens in Russia
Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- A Korean photo and art exhibition opened at the Romanov Art Gallery in Krasnoyarsk City of Russia on June 13 to mark the 6th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's visit to Siberian and Far Eastern regions of the Russian Federation.

On display there were photos of Kim Jong Il visiting the Russian Federation and photos showing the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

There were also pictures, handicrafts and others introducing the reality of the DPRK.

Present at the opening ceremony were the vice-director of the Krasnoyarsk City Administration, the curator of the art gallery and other personages and citizens and a delegation of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and officials of various DPRK units working in Russia.

At the ceremony the vice-director of the administration congratulated the opening of the exhibition and hoped that the two countries with a long history of friendship would further expand exchange and cooperation in various fields.

The curator of the art gallery said it is honor to host the Korean exhibition at the gallery for the first time, adding that they would work hard to consolidate the ties of friendship between the peoples of the two countries through such exhibitions.

The exhibition will last till June 23.
