While seeing people working hard to prevent the drought damage, he underlined the need to overcome the damage in the agricultural front and encouraged the officials and agricultural workers and helpers from ministries and national institutions in the anti-drought campaign.

At an onsite consultative meeting, measures were taken to tap the water sources to cope with a long spell of drought and heat temperature and for ministries and national institutions and other relevant units to provide the farms with vehicles and materials on a preferential basis to carry out the campaign.
