S. Korean Regime's Unreasonable Behavior under Fire
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- An article of Rodong Sinmun Sunday criticizes the present south Korean regime for unreasonably putting up the solution to the nuclear issue as a precondition for repairing the north-south relations.

The article says:

The south Korean regime, in disregard of how the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula was spawned and why it still remains unsettled, the most essential issue, has gone so foolish as to follow the U.S. in stifling the DPRK under the pretext of the nuclear issue.

The nuclear issue is just a product of the U.S. hostile policy and nuclear threats to the DPRK.

The rulers of south Korea are also to blame for causing the nuclear issue in collusion with the U.S. and disturbing its settlement.

The south Korean authorities are trumpeting about "dismantlement of nukes" in disregard of this fact. It is just an act of treachery that follows in the footsteps of the conservative group which threw the north-south ties into nadir.

If the south Korean authorities truly hope for peace, they should take issue with the U.S. moves of bringing the disaster of nuclear war to the Korean nation while constantly posing nuclear threat to the compatriots in the north.

If they don't pursue confrontation with the DPRK, there is no need for them to worry about its self-defensive nuclear deterrent for coping with the U.S. threats of aggression.

It is just a daydream for them to get the nuclear issue settled between the north and the south as it is just an issue between the DPRK and the U.S.

The south Korean authorities should make a U-turn in their policy to frustrate the outsiders' aggression and interference against reunification by pooling efforts with the compatriots in the north, not calling for "north's dismantlement of nukes."
