S. Koreans Call for Wage Hike
Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- The Joint Action for the Minimum Wage Ten Thousand Won and Abolition of Part-time Jobs in south Korea reportedly held a press conference on June 21 in Seoul, appealing to the public to join the campaign for minimum wage hike and abolition of part-time jobs.

Saying that workers are struggling with a resolution to get rid of the evils of tycoons refusing to increase their wage, speakers at the conference called for building a world where the popular masses truly enjoy their life.

They set the intensive action period from that day to June 30 and expressed their will to go on a general strike.

An appeal was read out at the conference. Noting that students and youths decided to join the general strike of part-timers, the appeal called on citizens to join and support it.
