Researchers of Pyongyang Agricultural College of Kim Il Sung University have introduced their research findings into cooperative farms of Pyongyang City to raise healthy seedlings. They are also pushing ahead with the development of efficient farming machines and technology of cultivating big crop seedlings.

Sukchon University of Agriculture succeeded in making nucleic acid organic nutritive activator with indigenous materials and has introduced into cooperative farms such advanced farming methods as seeding for taller rice-sprouts, their cultivation and vinyl sheet-based accurate seeding.

Nampho University of Agriculture is concentrating its efforts on cultivating blue-green algae spores with stronger activity.
