Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spreads to Merited Intellectuals
Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent birthday spreads to Prof. and Dr. Sin Tong Ryang, a teacher of Nampho University of Fisheries, and Jong Chun Mo, a merited journalist of the Kangwon Ilbo, on their 80th birthday.

Born into a poor worker's family before the liberation, Sin could study to her heart's content in the country liberated by President Kim Il Sung. She has devoted her whole life to the education of the younger generation after graduating from Kim Hyong Jik University of Education.

For more than five decades, she has dedicated her wisdom and passion to training the talents and wrote a lot of books on the leadership exploits of the peerlessly great persons, textbooks, reference books and theses.

President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme leader Kim Jong Un invited her to participate in several meetings such as the meeting of Korean Intellectuals and the 13th National Meeting of Korean Educators and made sure that she was awarded party and state commendations.

Born in the southern half of the republic, Jong Chun Mo was subject to misfortune and sufferings by the U.S. imperialists after the liberation and joined the People's Army and bravely fought during the last Fatherland Liberation War.

After the war, he graduated a university and became a journalist. Since then he has written many articles and inspired the party members and other working people to the implementation of the party's policy through lectures.

Kim Jong Un sent an autograph letter to him and saw to it that he was awarded the title of Merited Journalist.
