S. Korean Authorities' Suppression of Teachers under Fire

Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Hangyore in an editorial on June 26 condemned the prosecution and the education office for suppressing the teachers who took part in the declaration on situation demanding probe into the truth about the ferry "Sewol" disaster and ouster of the Park Geun Hye regime.

The editorial charged that although the teachers did what they should do for their dead students, city and provincial education offices are discussing the punishment of them.

It stressed the need to revise the "public servant law" which bans the expression of political view and collective action by the public servants including teachers.
